CONTROL YOUR BALANCE

Confidently approach more advanced Reformer Pilates exercises — without fear or pain.

Tackling an advanced Pilates exercise isn’t about being fearless, flexible, or “good enough.”

It’s about understanding how the exercise is built, what supports it, and how to approach it intelligently — wherever you are in your journey.

The Control Your Balance Challenge is a guided, supportive Reformer-based experience designed to help you learn how to approach advanced Pilates exercises — starting with Control Balance Off — without pressure to perform or prove anything.

This isn’t about mastering an exercise.
It’s about learning how to try — safely and confidently.

WHAT THIS APPROACH SUPPORTS

CONFIDENCE

Feel more confident approaching advanced Reformer exercises instead of avoiding them.

CLARITY

Understand what actually supports an exercise — so you’re not guessing on the Reformer.

CAPABILITY

Build skills you can apply across advanced Reformer work — not just one exercise.

Confidence that comes from understanding

I HEAR THIS ALL THE TIME

EXPECTATION

I should be able to do this by now.

SAFETY

I don’t feel safe trying this on the Reformer.

UNCERTAINTY

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

AVOIDANCE

I usually just skip it.

BODY AWARENESS

It never feels right in my body.

BELONGING

Maybe this exercise isn’t for me.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN

I used to feel this way too.

When I first started attempting advanced Reformer exercises, I thought I was missing something — like I should already know how to do them, or that I was doing something wrong if they didn’t feel clear or safe.

What I eventually realized was this:
it wasn’t about ability or effort.

It was about missing steps. Clarity.

Once I started breaking the exercises down and understanding how they were built, everything changed — not overnight, but enough to feel confident trying instead of avoiding.

LET’S PUT IT IN PERSPECTIVE

It would be slower

Trying to figure out advanced Reformer work across random classes takes time and guesswork.

You’d keep guessing

Without a clear process, uncertainty tends to repeat.

No instant access

This challenge brings everything into one focused place.

Perhaps you are thinking…

  • “I’m not advanced enough for Reformer work like this.”
  • “I don’t have much time.”
  • “What if I still can’t do the exercise?”

This challenge is about learning how to approach the exercise — not proving you can do it.

This is why I created this challenge

I created the Control Your Balance Challenge because I know how defeating it feels to stand in front of the Reformer and think, “Why doesn’t this make sense to me?” I remember feeling like I was missing something — like everyone else got it, and I just hadn’t worked hard enough yet. I remember pushing myself when something didn’t feel right, and I remember avoiding things altogether when the fear outweighed the confidence.

What I wish someone had told me back then is this: there was nothing wrong with me. I wasn’t behind. I wasn’t incapable. I just hadn’t been taught how to build toward advanced work on the Reformer in a way that felt clear, safe, and logical.

If this challenge had existed when I was learning, it would have changed everything. It would have saved me years of second-guessing myself. It would have helped me trust my body sooner. And it would have shown me that confidence doesn’t come from forcing — it comes from understanding.

This is why I care so deeply about teaching this way. My hope for you isn’t that you “get” Control Balance. My hope is that you stop doubting yourself when something feels challenging.

I want you to feel capable of trying. I want you to trust your instincts. I want you to know that advanced Reformer work isn’t something you earn by suffering — it’s something you learn step by step. I believe in this challenge because I’ve seen what happens when people finally understand the process. They don’t just move better — they think differently. They stop shrinking their practice. They stop assuming they’re the problem.

I don’t want you to waste years feeling stuck or intimidated by something that can be learned with the right guidance. You deserve clarity. You deserve confidence. And you deserve a way forward that doesn’t require you to prove anything.
